Student data, media & AI

How we protect pupils' information, photos and videos, how long we keep data, and how the AI study assistant is used.

Information to be confirmed by the school: highlighted passages will be completed by the school.

Children's privacy

  • Student records, marks, attendance, fees and messages are private. Only the student, verified parents or guardians, and authorised staff can see them, and every access is checked by the system.
  • Students' online work (quizzes, assignments, uploaded answer sheets) is visible only to the student, their verified parents and their teachers.
  • Parents' portal access is given only after the school checks the family relationship.

Photos, videos and student work on the website

  • We publish photos, videos, names or projects that identify a pupil only with a parent's or guardian's consent.
  • We never publish a pupil's full name together with their class and photo.
  • Student projects are checked by a teacher and approved by the school before they appear in the Student Showcase.
  • To withdraw consent or ask us to remove a photo, contact the school office: we act within [5 working days].

Comments and suggestions

  • Blog comments are checked before they appear; email addresses are never shown.
  • The student suggestion box is read only by the school administration and is never published.

How long we keep data

  • AI study assistant conversations: deleted automatically after the period set by the school (currently [90] days).
  • Online assessment answers and marks: kept for [the current and the next school year].
  • Admission applications that do not lead to enrolment: kept for [12 months].
  • Website contact messages: kept for [12 months].

The AI study assistant

  • It helps students understand lessons, revise and practise. It gives hints before answers.
  • AI can make mistakes. Teachers remain the authority for marks, assessments and official answers.
  • It never receives answer keys, marks, other students' information or private records. During open assessments it only gives hints, or no help when the teacher chooses.
  • Questions are processed by an external AI service under contract with the school ([provider and data-processing terms to confirm]). Students must not share personal information in the chat.
  • The school can switch the assistant off for any class, level or role, and limits daily use.

Your rights

Parents and guardians may ask to see, correct or delete their child's data by contacting the school office.
